BMC Air Filters

Postby DorsetZS on Sun Sep 07, 2003 2:44 pm

Has anyone had any experience with these ? I am looking at a universal one, to fit to my zetec-s, atm i have a pipercross but it was turd in the summer, and I know the viper gives good results as an enclosed filter, so this a cheaper compromise. There are 2 listed for 70mm inlet, one is for upto 1600cc and the other is over, the only difference is the over 1600cc is 20mm longer, should i go for this as its more air in ?

Any advice welcomed

PiperX r good IMO but need to be kept clean, otherwise for value for money id get a Green Coton which i use.
Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop to look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Yeah it is good, but I'm after an enclosed filter, sumthing to keep it cool, cos it was really bogged down in the heat.

Is it worth it ?
