i got told 2 day u can buy turbos that wud just bolt on 2 my 2.0si wit out changen anything is that ringht if so were can i get them from and r they any gud

you need to lower compression to run a turbo, and on a 2.0 you can run a decompression plate so u need low comp pistons, and to sort out oil breathers i think it is mate. have a look at streetdragsters post if you feel up to doing it ureself!

dont think you have got that right there mate.

you can use a decompression plate to lower the CR or you can use low comp pistons (much better way) athough it is more expenisve to buy stronger pistons, but you can run more boost for more power in the future. You could use a deompression plate quite happy on low boost and be fine, athough you will still have to change engine managment, cooling etc.

Either way it isnt just a "bolt on" mod, you will need to change a of things and depending on how much bhp your after can get very expensive!

no, u can use a decomp on a 1.8, and on a 2.0 but the 2.0 wont last very long, percy! has brought up the question before and it shouldnt be done

Hes probably talking about a Van Aaken turbo kit that runs about 6psi and doesnt require any internal work.

u can turbo nething!!!! but without internal change and fuel changes wouldn't like to see how long it lasts :P
