Hi please help

i have installed a frst ofac loom ecu and efi engine into a mk4 escort 4door.
it has t3, fmic, beige injectors and a 195 super chip.
runs and drives great BUT when you boost it 2-3 times it hits boost cut. regardless wether boost is set at 10psi or 20psi. once its hit boost cut it then will hit boost cut all the time.
seems to happen more when its warmed up.

I would check that the chip is seated properly and is secured with with tape, as per instructions. Did you clean thoroughly the ECU conducts? Also check the chip socket conducts. I have seen sometimes the conducts to be open and make a loose connection on the ECU causing problems.

Speedo sends pulses to the ECU. ECU reads that the car is moving, and when you are not pressing the accelerator pedal, it cuts fueling a bit, so on the overun to lean the mixture to avoid unburned fuel in the exhaust.

Is it a spade connector or a round type? If it is of the round type, you can use a crimp type connector like this and bolt it on a nut, the sensor has thread on it:

If it is a spade connector you will need something like this:

Good... Regarding boost issues, only other thing I can think is either the chip is not working as it should, or the boost gauge is not showing correctly. Trouble is that since you run on beiges, you can't remove the chip and test it, since it will overfuel. Can you post a picture of the chip pins and the ecu J3 socket that the chip plugs in? I would like to see both rows of the J3....

J3 is the name of the slot that the chip plugs on the ECU. It is a diagnostic and expansion slot.

2 raws of pins printed on both sides of the board. If both rows are not equally cleaned from the insulating material they have from the factory, the chip won't function properly. Also, sometimes the socket of the chip may have bent or open connector pins which will not make good contact on the pins of the board, making the engine run erraticaly. I have seen it.
