boring out the 2 litre throotle body

i have the 2litre throttle body of the mondeo engine and was wondering if you could bore it out to fit a bigger throttle flap.if you could would there be any benifits power wise.

buy one from america for the 2ltr focus - i believe 72mm one are availiable for the 2ltr

wouldnt do much probably a couple of brake if you got the 72mm and would take away from low down torque and because you havent got any cams big valve head etc wouldnt help top end that much i saw some piper cams on ebay for 200 buy it now that is a bargain as they are 350 out of mags and give 10 brake easy and let you rev up nicer

Its not going to give you any more power if you fit a bigger body on a turbo engine

You still see big power YB engines on a standard body
Now driving a 1999 Audi S3 with 2.1 20v OD HTAGT3582r Turbo

yeah but have you seen cossie throttle bodies there a massive my mates got one on his zetec turbo engine running a dyno proven 621 bhp its huge i suppose a t61 turbo helps as well

i don't see the point with a mild tuned low boost zetec turbo, the standard fiesta turbo one its good for 400bhp i've been told.

Going to big may reduce gas speed.
