hi all, ive got a 1.8 silver top engine ready for my zvh build!!

i want it bored out (wen ive stripped it down), does anyone no how big i can get it bored out to? maybe 2.0? i want it big n powerfull but i dont want it to go bang lol

also a rough price!! im in the essex area..

why not get a 2ltr block? 8 mm is the most on a 2ltr so i would amagin it would be the same on the 1.8 ltr. why not try a rebore and re strock see what u get.

if you want big and powerful then 2.1 zetec would be better than the zvh your planning IMHO.

ive not heard of anyone taking a 1.8 larger than 1.9 mainly cos its not worth it

why go to the truble when there is a 2 ltr out there? u would probably be cheeper bying the 2 ltr than geting ur 1.8 bored

well im gunna stick with the 1.8 4 now and build up a good 2.1 once ive done one ill be much better then!!
