yes its on my escort rs, and yes i think one mite be knackered......i was waitin for someone to tell me the possible signs/symptoms.

basically im getting i grinding, grumbling sound and vibrations thru the floor when i take left hand bends, not turning left into a side street but just when the road swings to the left.

iv just had new tyres put on the front cos i thought it could be cause they were very worn but its still there. bearings r ok.....any ideas??

lower arm

think its lower arm, best to replace these with time anyway, mine made a knocking sound on left hand bends (at speed) like the car was skitting sideways, but not at left hand corners like you say
