I think any fiesta mk3 without abs should fit but to be honest is realy not worth it on a 1ltr. :)

i used the original hoses when upgrading mine to erst brakes and they do the job more than good enough, trust me itl be a bit of a waste on a 1 litre anyway, even if you change the engine it can alweays be done later and even then, id doubt very much thel be worth it

I would love to know why people carry on about braided hoses. Sure they are used on competition cars but the need for them on road cars is zero. Don't get me wrong, I was fooled into thinking they were great as well from reports I had heard from various people who had bought them, on and off this forum.

However, all brake hoses are braided however they are braided on the inside of the pipe. Outer braiding is only meant to stop chaffing of the outside of the pipe, thus why they are useful on rally cars and other such motorsport applications. The outer braid does not add any strength to the pipe at all.

So, save your money and just get some standard replacements if your's are old and perished.

People carry on about braided hoses as some people on here do have high performace car's i know it sound's odd  as this is a fiestaturbo.com web site but i would look at all high performance car's as a type of competition cars road or track car still need to be able to brake well when it high performance They make a big difference to my car . But nick i think all mark 3 hose's should fit but don't think it would be money well spent but i got mine for £25 new so if you can get them for that then it always good to change brake hose as they can get tired and could bad news

j7aoc :They make a big difference to my car

What did you feel that was different?

The only reason I said what I did was because I know a guy who works at a company that manufactures hydraulics hoses. At the time I was of the oppinion that they were better and mentioned to him about getting some made up.

Himself being a car fan as well had already thought about this and bought a set to cut up and see what they were made from. As he can make a set up for a few quid from work. In his professional oppinion they were no different to standard high pressure oil line, and the outer braid does not add any strength to the pipe at all.

It should be a small difference when change standard old one's for standard new one's brake hose's are bad new's when they get old as they can swell and get soft i live down the road from one of the best rs garage's in the uk and they swear by them and if they use them on track car they must work on fast road car's as i no i thrash my car with a inch of it life That why i have cosworth brake's with braided hoses what would be the point in spending hundreds of pounds on a cossy brake set up a leave the standard 15 year old hose's on it Im not saying that there the best mod in the world but better the nowt

nick mate dont buy standard hoses ,go for the good fridge ones , they may offer no improvement on your braking power or feel , but my god do they look sexy when you look under the arch ,oh and they are cheaper than gen ford standard jobbies about 40quid for the whole car from burtons :D
