Brake Calipers

Postby Brian on Mon Jan 26, 2004 12:19 pm

I have been offered a pair of brake calipers which normally fit a escort mk5, the part numbers are as below for the lhs and rhs calipers
BHW259E BHW260E (Lucas Parts)

I was wondering whether these would be an upgrade upon the calipers i have on at the minute which are for solid discs, ideally i am looking for XR2i calipers for vented discs.

Basically i am asking how good the escort ones would be and how hard they would be to fit, if i get the corresponding caliper mounting brackets off of an escort will it fit onto my fiesta hub??

Any other problems you can think of? Cheers guys....

how much and what condition, the reason im so interested in the escort ones is that they are brand spankers (well reconditioned)
