Brake upgrade- master cylinder/servo

Postby luca on Mon Mar 12, 2007 2:54 pm

Hello all - i have been trying to search for an upgrade/thread on here to show how to fit the mk5 escort servo /mas-cylinder to mk 3 fiesta -

running willwoods and cossie rear discs and need more fluid flow as pedal is rather spongey and travels to far - Fine once bled for a day or two but gets worse - think i need a manlier master cylinder

ANY ONE POINT ME IN THE DIRECTION OF THE LINK PLEASE

MANY THANKS :)

i run an escort master cylinder and so does adam on his blue FRST that was featured.

they are dead simple to fit, all you have to do is use the fiesta brackets and elongate the holes so that the escort servo will fit, then you have to cut the end of the servo rod down by 20mm and have it rewelded to fit the length of the fiesta brackets. They are perfectly safe as the U clamp that is on them as std as they are simply a push fit so welding them makes them stronger.

i can make them if needed but will take at least a week to do as i aint got as much time as when i was in uni and used to make them for people.

if your interested in one drop me a pm and i can get them sorted for you.
