Would some improved discs in your current size not be just as good as standard mondeo brakes, they are hardly brilliant brakes...

Get some fast road discs and pads, and Im sure it will be enough braking power unless you have mega power through your car that is.

If your friend had come here when you said he was going to you could've had my Tar.Ox grooved/vented discs, XR2i calipers and Ferodo pads, they work a treat, and would only have cost you £40!

This is a pic of the Mondeo caliper on an Escort Mk5/6 hub, with an RS2000 disc. (the offset of Escort M5/6 hubs is the same as that of Fiesta Mk3 hubs)

There is a 1mm gap between the hub and the carrier, so a 1mm penny washer is requred. (note: this is on MY hub, on your hub it might not need any spacer)

And as said before, the holes on the hubs need to be enlarged to 12mm.

In fact I just noticed one thing today... the pads on the Mondeo calipers are bigger than those on RS2000 calipers :O I might end up keeping the Mondeo calipers...
