what would be the biggest brakes i could fit behind 16 inch rims, thinking hi-spec conversion

Somewhere near 300mm discs.

With some callipers and with some rims you can go for 315mm.

Now the question is: do you really need that kind of stoping power? How much does your car weight? how much power does it have? what kind of use you give it?

big brakes look good as well as the fact im going for a highly tuned 2litre conversion

I would just let u know i tried out willwood big brake conversion for my mk3 fezzy and i had alot of trouble. im lookin into hi-spec conversion.

they look phat and hav loads of stopping power, wel worth the investment. just watch out for the pratt behind tho, [ERRR] he wouldnt be able to stop in the same distance!!!
