Honestly mate sell them, the stock ERST callipers are no better than the stock FRST/XR/Si stuff.

be better than my 1.3 solid disks tho wont they? and a damn sight more. i can brake with the engine faster than i can with the brakes.

either way cant afford cossy bits.
when av work the set of disks that come with these callipers, how easy is a 270-280mm disk conversion using the erst callipers

ive got some 4x4 sierra cosworth discs and calipers with mint pads for sale 200 quid the lot am located M1 JNC 33/36 if your interested

ERST Calipers fitted my WIP 2.0 Si... only bolted on ATM, haven't connected hydraulics (Car is OTR :( )... so can't comment on performance!
Should be OK ERST Piston diameter 59mm, 1.6Si 53mm.

ERST calipers are same as Sierra XR4x4
(the 2 litre twin cam NOT Cossy)

Bolt on swap... along with Mk5 130bhp XR3 260x24mm discs.
Calipers are approx 0.5/1.0mm off central over the disc which is good enough.

nice! o yeah finally they came thriough the post and need a bit of a clean. wire brush and brake cleaner ent workin. any easy ideas? also one of the wirey bracket things is missing. where casn i get another.

same with the seals and valves. there on the callipers but i think they need replacing. tried loadsa places but none do them. any ideas or just go to fors for them.

Mine are 260mm (pictured in the post above)

For seals, service kit etc open the online cat here: http://www.brakeparts.co.uk/

When you found the calipers pick 'associated parts'
there's all sorts of service kits available!
Dunno if they're better priec than Ford though!

got em on fitted and working. works little better than my standard brakes and have got no pedal feel what so ever, the pedal is also spongey as F**k, will fitting a better master cylinder, servo any thin sort this. am halfway through bleeding the whole system and putting new fluid in.
