got 1.1 fiesta looking to renew the brakes with something a bit better , want to go brand new and not second hand , and want better stopping power , advice? :wink:

Its been asked loads before.

Theres no point putting bigger brakes on because your not exactly going to be going fast for a start.

Just get some decent pads and disks - mintex are a good make.

Also re-new the brake fluid.

But if you do want more stopping power, just get bigger calipers and disks, like rst/xr2i/si ect. Although you may need to upgrade parts of the system to do that like the servo.

thats all i mean , something like new set of pads and discs , to improve stopping power :)

As said upgrade to the vented setup from the higher spec models, and use a decent set of pads and thats all the stopping power you should need for your car :D
