hi, i hav brought a xr2 with the plan of putting the engine into my mk3.5

im just wondering if i can use any of the xr2's brakes? will discs/pads/calipers fit? :-?

or what would u reckomend, doubt my 1.1 brakes are up to it :lol:

The brakes on the MKII Fiestas are different to the MKIII and above. You should be able to pick up a set of vented brakes quite cheaply though.

xr`s wont fit as said,
xr2i 8v/16v/si/frst all go straight on and as said are vented and cheap as chips.

st170 brake are huge and fairly expensive but obv new work wonders and are almost straight fit (matter of enlarging 2 holes by 1 or 2mm)

cossie 4x4 brake require spacers/bracket
cossie 2wd i believe dont fit.

then ur other options are aftermarket or biggin's from a different make car :D
