Breaking heeman's ZT. Engine, rear discs, everything!
Open to offers on many parts now.
I am breaking my Mk3 Zetec Turbo Fiesta, with all parts up for grabs. I am now operating a policy of "if you want the parts, give me the money", with no "dibs". If you want parts, let me know and we'll arrange a time for you to collect them. If someone else gets their first, they'll get the parts. Too many people messing me around I'm afraid.
Please indicate your interest in parts by replying to this thread, not via PMs. I would only like PMs from people interested in buying the engine package. I am trying to be fair to everyone, but it is hard to do so unless all interest is shown publicy in this thread. Thank you

No worries andy
I'm hopefully looking at a unit in the next couple of days. If I have enough people requesting parts, I imagine I would begin stripping it next weekend, possibly sooner.

RS_seg :put my name down for the Escort Mk5 master cylinder and servo
Gotcha buddy
mikeymikeymikeymikeymikeymikeymikeyp - I bought it with the pushrod already modified. I then bought a brand new master cylinder, bolted it on after spraying the servo, and fitted it all to the car
I have replied to all PMs to date. Will list people's names next to parts tomorrow night.

Re: Possibly breaking my ZT
what condition are the gearbox mounts in? How much do you want for them and how much mileage/abuse have they seen?
is the ap clutch new,if not, what mileage has it covered?
and finally, if you decide to split the engine i would be interested in the head......

Re: Possibly breaking my ZT
FULLBORE - The gearbox mounts should be in good nick. They have been hard used, but they stand up to it with no problems, hence the initial expense
The clutch is not new. AP fitted new friction pads to it perhaps 2,000 miles before I stopped using the car. I'd done about 7,000 - 8,000 miles on them before that point, and there was still plenty of life left in the pads that AP replaced. It was the perfect choice for my setup £50 for the gearbox mounts including nuts.

Bloody Wilwoods have been spoken for about ten times over dude I didn't even think to ask you if you wanted anything, it was a bit of a spur of the moment thing today after getting so fed up of being messed about.
Shaun - I've just gone through PMs and FRSJON said he wanted the rad. Any chance you two could sort this out between you both?? The trouble with being PMd and having thread replies all at once!

Re: Possibly breaking my ZT
Russ - andymcd has first dibs on the coilovers and is making arrangements for their collection, but your interest has been noted
Paul - Yeah I'm really sorry about that I'll have to check the bloody PMs etc, I'm sure about fourteen people want the lower arms. The gear change you may have
edit: didn't see your other reply. Yes, this is the selector built entirely from new parts from Ford at the cost of around £135 IIRC! Thinking back...I'm pretty sure I had to re-use the actual metal selector rod itself since the FRST item was a different length. The springs and plungers were all new, the gear lever and its ball joint were new, the rubberised housing that bolts to the chassis was new, the plastic cup underneath (which holds the grease) was new, and the bush on the end of the stabiliser rod was new. You could just plonk your FRST selector rod (with the UJ on the end) into the assembly and bolt it all up. Say £40?
