Minstral - £150 inc p&p for the alarm. I will be removing it carefully - it was far too expensive to chop it out messily!
krestudon - I think seven people have asked for the coilovers now, but I'll keep you in line

There are pics of most parts of the car in my huge thread. I'm afraid I don't have much time to go through it myself at the moment, but you will find pics. There are I think two fairly shallow upward dents, which didn't really stop it being worthy of being a "show car" in my eyes. There is a little rust on the front lip, but it's to the rear and doesn't show through. If it were perfect it would be up for sale at £150ish. I consider it to be in "good" condition, and have priced it very fairly I think. Feel free to come and have a look at it if you're local

Shaun - Thanks a million for the offer! Very kind of you To be honest, as ridiculous as it sounds, I think taking my beloved pride and joy apart will be a pretty personal process, so even though it would take half the time with your help, I would rather be the one to do it. I don't have axle stands any more (cheers Steve!!!), but might as well buy some. Chances are it'd be sitting on them for a handful of months, so I'd rather not borrow yours, thanks again! I do have my engine crane still so I should be fine thanks. Top bloke

Hi mate, what's the shell like? Has it ever been welded/failed an MOT for rust? If yes, how many times?

How are the rear lights diiferent to geniune rs accessory ones (apart from the fact they arn't actually made by ford). Do they look the same or are the indicators just sprayed over black instead of orange? Basically how different do they look to genuine ones?
Also, do you still have the headlight covers I've seen in one of your pics mate? If so I will have them!
Cheers.

D.J. - Too bad! Sorry it didn't work out that way for you...I'm sure the house is the more sensible option though! Cheers
Mark - It needed a patch on the rear nearside sill on its 2006 MOT, which was its first ever rust repair. In 2007 the MOT man lowered the car down a touch on the ramps while the hydraulic transmission jack was still extended under the car, which pushed up on the front right seat mounting point (if memory serves me correctly). It turned out that that point was starting to accumulate some rust anyway. He patched over it and the seat is currently held with a nut and bolt at that point. I haven't been under the car for quite a while, so that's the best account I can give for now. The petrol cap area has always been absolutely perfect, no rust near any turrets. You may remember the two dents, one either side of the passenger side roof rail, which were caused when a student dropped something on it in my student car park in 2004. I think you'd be happy with the shell tbh, but it's fine with me if you want to come have a look. There's a chance of me being able to rent a corner of a unit some friends are renting, and it had a set of ramps in it, so you could inspect away.
Nick - Cheers buddy. I can't say I'm too happy, but I don't think many people have as much fun in their cars as I have, or for so long
Pole - Cheers dude Are you wanting the gear selector mech btw? I replied to your questions on Page 1.
Dave G fsi - I've dug out two pics of them, as shown below. There are many many more in my thread, just click on my sig. The indicator section is tinted (not painted black!). I do still have my headlight protectors. The ones I KNOW I have are non-genuine, and undamaged, for £30. I'm not sure where my genuine ones are. They do have the usual small crack in the top corner though.

If it's down by Ilton business park & we get to upset the residents again, count me in! I can't vouch for Shaun, but I'm tone deaf with a flat voice - I can make a hell of a racket with a guitar though!!!
I shall resist from spamming this thread any further. You know what I'm having so just let me know when the time comes.

I know I said I wouldn't comment further but the prospect of Shaun in full "DEEEEEE-DOP" with a Freddie Mercury style 'tache and a white vest singing into a torque bar or wheel brace proved too much. I have very nearly cried real tears.
Anyone lend us Band / Guitar Hero?!!

Interest, yes..premises, not yet. The unit I had lined up is closed over the weekends, rendering it entirely useless! Waiting to hear back from a friend.

No, sorry matey.
Going to look at a unit this weekend that I can hopefully share. If so, I'll probably start stripping the car this weekend or next.

Re: Breaking my ZT
Update: I found a suitable unit today. Once I've negotiated a price I can hopefully transport the car over there ready to start stripping parts off next weekend.
The interior in my car has something like 55,000 miles on it and is very good, as the pics show. I will upload pics of any parts not spoken for once I start to break it.

Re: Breaking heeman's ZT. Engine, box, everything!
I received a text tonight to say I can use the unit I had in mind. The owners will be clearing it out this weekend, so it looks like I can begin stripping the car next week. The entire car will be coming apart, so please post up with your interests.
Interior is possibly spoken for, sale pending.
