Postby MK4 Rick on Sun Sep 24, 2006 10:09 pm

ive heard alot about this zvh turbo conversion lately and some people say you can build a 2litre zvh with out dropping compression just sticking the cvh head to the zetec bottom end.street dragster told me this can be done.just wanted to no from other peoples views if this can be done or not.and how much psi can i run with out dropping comp.what water pump would i use and what tensioner also.ive looked at the site called quantim but there is loads of differant ways.does anybody no a good set up ie water pump.tensioner, compression ratio etc.

If your going to do it, you might aswell do it properly. Save a bit of money up and lower the comperssion.

Otherwise, stick to a low psi

ello mate, the cheapest way for now is to take the pistons and get .5 skimmed off them! my local engineerers do it for about £5 - £10 a piston and you should get up to about 12 - 14 psi with no probs.

Don't do it without talking to the ZVH godfather: Ian Howel. He also sells a complete kit (injectors, map sensor, etc incluind the chip for 0fab done by ahmed bayjoo) for the DIY ppl.
