bumper business

If - on a trip to scrapyards - I found a fiesta LX, with the big bumpers, would I be able to fit them to my standar mark 3, without changing the paintwork bit below the standard bumpers? (the skirting paintwork bits on front and back)

Right, I recommend you do everything at once. I mean, wheels, bront and back bumpers, skirts and arches, suspension, exhaust, and interior. As a guide, here's how much I reckon it would (roughly) cost to make the car look like a sporty but fairly conservative Fiesta (all prices are estimated by myself and will be, in all cases, completely inaccurate):-
• £160.00 Cosworth style front bumper without light pockets
• £100.00 Si style rear bumper
• £50.00 Si style small mirrors
• £100.00 tint rear lights, clear front and side indicators, XR2i steering wheel, misc other interior trims to improve looks
• £60.00 RS2000 side skirts
• £200.00 spraying for the above
• £300.00 upwards - set of alloy wheels
• £100.00 set of lowering springs - 30mm drop
• £120.00 Powerflow custom stainless steel back box with tailpipe of your choice
• £100.00 set of custom seat covers
Total: £1,290.00 - !!!

Put em on and see what happens!
Check how it feels to drive or get someone in the know to give em the once over.

Don't give up whatever you do... Your fiesta is still better than mine was to start with - diamond white with pink trim, no glovebox cover, no clock, enough room to get *two* fits under the arches.. oh and a 1.0 engine... that's 997cc to you and me
Not saying it's done yet, but cossie'd and Si'd...
Good luck, and if you need bits... please please please look at my list for sale - i need a bigger engine!!!!!!

If you can't get original bumpers, try the ones I'm going to get - from Autofashion, or whatever they're called - the ones who make the Animal kit... Custom Autofashion???
They've developed really good replica ones, and for £200 all inclusive, you get front & rear bumpers, fog lights, and the pods they sit in, and the price includes P&P!!!
i shouldn't have bothered spending £110 on XR2i sideskirts and arches - i've changed my mind now!!!
i want a low, smooth, Si bumpered, Cordoba splittered, ICE'd, 5-door Strato Silver fezzy mk3.
i was going to get cossie front, and smooth out an XR2i rear, with the arches & sideskirts, but the garage complained about the quality of my GRP arches/sideskirts.
any ideas???

i would go to the scrappy to get some, but noone seems to have any, damn it!
i've tried loads of my local spares places, but people seem to prefer stacking non-Si fezzies!
i've just read a warning about Autofashion on another post...??? Are they bad? I don't want to be messed around!
any help, guys???
