They are identical.

If you've got the stadard disc it wont upgrade by putting them on as they are same size as standard. The only difference is the ventilation and they dissipate heat better.

Depend on your car at the moment. If you have solid discs then swapping to aset of Si/XR/RS brakes will improve things. If you already have vented discs and aren't driving an XR or RS then fresh Dot 4 with Mintex or Ferodo pads will help things nicely. If you have an XR/RS and aren't planning on going mad a setup like Tarox 20 groove discs, Mintex/Ferrodo pads with braided hoses and fresh Dot4 should suffice. If you are running an RS then I would seriously look at a 4x4 Cosworth front brake setup

Fiesta st150 brake calipers bolt straight onto the mk3 hub without any spacers.... Perfect offset for the fiesta
You will need 15 inch alloy wheels or even 16's as certain 15's hit the caliper.

My sierra 4x4 cossie calipers went onto my xr2i and Rs turbo with 4 spacers on each bolt but kept coming loose under heavy braking even with thread lock....

I want to bin the solid discs on the front in favour of the vented kind ( I did this on my old Mk3 and used XR2i calipers).

Do Mk3 vented calipers fit Mk4?
