Cam for 1800zvh

Postby JamieFRST on Tue Mar 03, 2009 2:07 pm

When I had this engine built I used the cam out of my old head which I think is a CVH35K, I was told it looked quite worn but couldn't afford to replace it at the time. The car has been on and off the road lots over the last year so hasn't covered many miles, so would like to get the cam replaced before it gets anymore worn. Would I be best going for the same spec?

The head is stage 2 ported and polished and i'm only running about 12psi on a T2.

with the t2 turbo, you can get away with the piper 285t2
but overall a cvh 35 or 285t would be perfect imo
