CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

the si has a single cam shaft. doule cam shaft ????? how much ? would it be worth it ?

and i know that i would be better looking at a rs1800 engine, but for now keeping the 1.6 zetec :wink:

£500-600 for cams and pulleys, for bugger all gain, its not worth doing these sort of mods on the 1600..

yeah your right, the rs1800 has DOHC's so i might as well go in that direction :grin:

teh 1.6 is a DOHC too... just got small valves etc.. and is slow :sad:

Trust,

If you look at the shape of the top of the zetec you can see there's 2 cams, it sticks up both sides like.... Like Phil said just $hite small valves on it.... If they changed the engine from 2 -> 1 cam it wouldn't be a zetec would it?? Bet they're talkin about the 1.4 (PTE = 1 cam).
