Camber and tyre wear after lowering
I bought my Fiesta already lowered from my housemate, he says that the springs that were on the front when he got the car were for the 1.6l car and therefore the wrong springs (He doesn't know much about car tuning and that's what he was told) so the stock springs were put on the front, although it is lowered in the rear.
On the rear tyres I don't have a problem with the tyre wear but on the fronts the tyres are about 8 months old and totally worn on the inside edges - the treads aren't worn down anywhere near the 'warning lines' (whatever they're called, the marks across the tyres that tell you when to replace them) but I'm worried about the belts wearing through soon on the inside edges and will be replacing the front tyres next week.
My housemate says this is the third XR2i he'd owned and they all had similar problems. Does anyone else experience this?
I want to get the tracking done, new front tyres and probably get a proper set of lowered springs put on all at the same time so the car doesn't look like it's riding high in the front (see the link below) but want to know if anyone has seen this strange tyre wear themselves.

Alright, cool, thanks
Should I get the springs I want first and then get the tracking done?
Any suggestions on lowering springs? I don't know how much the car is lowered currently but want to get it sitting flat basically, on the correct length springs for this car.

i'm afraid it probably won't. the problems witht the camber and traking has nothing to do with this.
i have a real bad problem witht this on my si, to the point where i'm through the rubber in some small places
if you've got a 2i then you can get a set of ajustable lower arms from fiesta frenzy for £100 that fix it, but you cant get them for the si

Well the tracking and new tyres needs to be done anyway (Kumho Ecsta Supra = good tyres and cheap!), for another 100 quid plus fitting next month I can get the arms/camber sorted out and get new springs put on at the same time Looks like I know where my extra money is going the next couple of months! haha
