For Weber DCOE then Burton Power are as good as anywhere, if you want 2nd hand then a great source is Ian Harwood in Ellesmere Port who deals exclusively in 2nd hand Ford Rally stuff, don't think he has a web site but tel number is 0151 339 2801. Bear in mind that if 2nd hand then they may need rejetting and different chokes etc.

BTW you will need to change your dizzy most likely but you probably know that you already

It was just an observation-when I put 40s on my Pinto engine some years back I had to change the Dizzy--why??

Because you need a vacuum take off point to control the static advance. There is usually a diaphragm on the dizzy that has a vacuum hose connected to the inlet manifold that does this. Usuually there is not sufficient vacuum in one of the weber inlet tracts to get the same advance.

Also theoretically to get max performance you want a re-mapped dizzy to alter the timing to cope with the additional fuel/air you are cramming in. Althought this is not strictly necessary. The static advance is the main issue as without it you will have starting problems

I am a bit of an anorak I know
