Camshaft experience

Hi,
Has anyone on here had or has some experience of high lift cams in a zetec engine??
Mainly looking at the Piper 270 cams, or similar.

Fitted a set of Piper's fast road cams in my bro's missus Escort GTi and the results were very pleasing.

i really want to know if they are ok to run without a remap. I am looking at a remap just not at the present time.
I currently have, balanced 4:1 mani, induction, decat + exhaust on a 2.0, do you think it worth me fitting them now or leaving it till the remap??

I've got the pipers and they are good didn't remap for 3 days as didnt have my laptop and ran fine could feela smoother pull but remap is the only way to get the benfits :)
