CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

Can anybody tells me how to turbocharge my Xr2i 1.6 ?

What must I Change ? ECU, pistons...brakes...?

You could do it that way, but would cost you in the area of about 3k.

getyourself a RST engine, T2 Turbo, FRST loom and inlet manifold and all the other bits and you could get the whole lot for £800.

Or buy a written off FRST and just swap the lot over.

ok, and without changing the engine? only connecting the Turbo, intercooler and all the other things to my 1.6 ?

You can't just bolt a turbo on to a say an XR2i, you would have to lower the compression ratio. Else if you ran more than about 3psi it would blow up. And to to rebuild it and get all the bit you need would cost more than getting a RS Turbo engine

Or you could spend the money on a 285 cam, manifold & full exaust system. Then get some headwork done like i did :D Vroooom POP! :lol:
