Can I do anything with this??

I have only got a 1.3 HCS engine but I have got a brand new 1.3 head sitting in the garage.
Can I do anything to the head before I fit it that will increase the performace at all?

If I can, where can I get it done and how much would it cost?

Thanks.

port, polish and gas flow is the only real thing you can do to the actual head on most things, over sized valves etc come later!

Wont really be worth the cost involved but if you want to go for it then why not!

an engine reconditioner can port the inlet and outlet ports to match the manifaults and get rid of any rough lumps in the track! But your best bet would be an engine turer to do it for you as they know exactly what they are doing when it comes to things like this as theydo it all day every day!!

hope that helped!

Talk to burton power mate...they'll advise you best on the headwork

While the engine is apart, consider fitting a camshaft (bottom of the engine in those pushrod lumps)...the head and the cam are the major faults in the engine

Burton Power 020 8554 2281

Hope that helps mate.. good luck
