Can someone spec me a clutch please
im current running a fiesta rst ap 4 paddle clutch kit but ive overheated it(gearbox went on me and had to pull off in 4th/5th gear to get it home and clutch had only done maybe 50 miles so werent even bedded in, ever since that it slipps when coming onto boost i have to slowly accelerate so it doesnt slam the power down all at once.
Ive taken the clutch out and the clutch plate was blued so i knew it was knakered but tried de-glazing it and re fitted, its better than it was but still slipping so very annoying.
My engine/transmission setup is as follows
2.0 zetec turbo silvertop
Fiesta/escort si 1.8 flywheel
Fiesta 1.8 diesel gearbox
Atm running roughly 200bhp(running in map)
Will be perhaps going for 250-270 bhp when remapped with boost turned up so need a good clutch,
I was thinking to just stick a fiesta diesel clutch in for the time being and see how long it lasts (i can get my parts cheep so its not gona break the bank)
I dont want to go buying another ap clutch if i can help it as theyre expensive and im scared it will only do the same thing
Is there any cheeper options i could go for to withstand the power
Thanks

Best option of all is the Helix 6 paddle mate but thats the thing they are expensive, the best always is, though they do pop up for sale on here occasionally. Do a search & see if theres any on
