you should use 195/40/16 tyres too, as this will be less hassle.

AGAR :What offset are the wheels - could well be the problem. Your wanting a ET35 offset for best fit.
How much is the car lowered by also?
the car its lowered about 40mm, I dunno how it's the offset, but the rims are 16' from the mk6 fiesta 7 spokes, fords original.

yes, it's not too near of ET35:cry:
but I think with a 5mm spacers it'll dont touch with the suspension, Still waiting for that spacers..

Rubbing I Think
i have the same problem, but i havent replaced or altered the suspension.
My wheels are 195/45/16 and the noises are weird as hell. it's like cracking and that. when you lift your foot off the accelerator on the motorway it gets worse, but if your foot is right down its just like rubbing.
Waiting for a 5mm spacer.

My problem was the offset as AdamB sayed, my alloys have a ET49.5mm and I need to change to a larger studs and put some 15mm spacers to get the 16's on. look to the offset of the wheel.
