cant get used to non pas
hi guys, been driving my frst for a bit now and its lowered on avo coilovers and has 16inch escos alloys (with 195/40/16 tyres).
the ride is bumpy as hell and i just hate the non pas which is obv made worse by the suspension and bigger wheels
my question is, can i convert the car to PAS and what bits would be required?
thanks!

Re: cant get used to non pas
it can be done as ive just baught my fiesta with pas allready fitted, and mines a 2i on a h reg, so bound to be fitted after.,
as for the doddgy driving, without pas i lowered both my standard 1.1 and old xr2i with 50mm lowered suspention kit, on 15inch alloys, and the steering got lighter than it did when it wasnt lowered, but i think that any lower than 40, makes the steering crap,
only thing i can think off is trying to source the coomplete running gear from a pas fiesta, get a new steering rack, as its allways nice to have fresh steering,, and youll need to get a bigger aux drive belt as itll have to fit over the power steering pump which is situated above the alternator, a tight fit, but does help when is fitted as the steering is soo easy,
and works a dream when parrallel parking, even when your cars slammed by 60mm, like mine is,

need a PAS column, rack, pipework, and use a pump from a saxo, its electric so you dont need to worry bout belts etc
