Car Alarm Fob

Postby XRMike on Tue Jan 23, 2007 11:45 pm

Ive just bought another XR2i with a Gemini alarm fitted, the alarm works ok, but the fob has seen better days (i had to tape it together, and tape it to an old keyring as the keyring loop had been broken off), ive heard that there is a company who supplies new fobs for most alarms, can anyone help? :)

i do beleive that once you get the fob, it will have to be reprogrammed to your alarm as obviously they are not going to issue them with all the same fequency so you can open every car with that alarm, see if there is a website of the maufacturer and email them or ring them

GEMINI ! :o

My xr2i came with one of these fitted .... 3 months after it refused to disarm and even with a new battery it wouldnt work. Had to get the AA out to rewire the power to the fuel sender, The gemini alarm module melted :x
