Carb swap?

hi
i was just woundering if it would be possible for me to swap my 1.0 engine carb(mk 3 festa) for a bigger 1?
if so will i get a bit better power?

You might get a tiny bit more power but if you go to big you'll just over fuel and if you go to big you'll way over fuel and end up washing the bores and getting more fuel in the sump than being burnt . If i were you i'd save my cash . Fit a K&N and a system get it tuned and have it look nice till you can get some thing that responds to tuning abit more .Just an idea :-)

Have to agree with matt here. By the time you buy a good condition carb (relatively not that cheap), and get it jetted and properly set up, you could have saved a fair whack of the value of a good condition XR2i or whatever youre aiming for next.
