Carb tweaking

i hear people always saying its easy to tweak a carb
ive got a 1.4 CVH
running at its standered 79 bhp
can i raise this?

any help would be appricieated

either use a 28/32 carb from an xr2 or get a 32/34 dft from an early xr2 or xr3 but these are quite hard to find. theres not much you can do to the 1.4 carb as its s**t
At least i dont drive a saxo!!

I think yo'll find with either of those carbs a re-jet would be required for the engines smaller capacity
