you need a minimum of 6% of the bore size to maintain their integrity. how much has been machined off them mate ?

should be fine up to about 1 bar of boost mate, if you want them to last a little longer i suggest ceramic coating. stops heat entering the piston crown :D but make sure you have a decent I/C because it tends to heat everything up if you dont.

just a very cheap zetec turbo  i just need to know what there like so im biting the bullet. the cvh in the car needs a rebuild so i thought what the hell. new pistons for turbo cvh cost 450 odd quid plus skimming at another 25 quid a piston for low compression so it seemed a good idea at the time when i was offered a 1.8 zetec from a xr2i

1 bar max will do for me just fine. thanks very much fella's :D :D
