cat bypass

i am gettin a powerflow exhaust fitted in a week, is it worth getting a cat bypass? and will it pass its mot with one?

its worth gettin the bypass if uve got a big engine cops it lets out a few more horses.it wont usually pass an MOT cos of the high omissions.altho it could be worth goin to a garage and gettin it tested to see how badly it affects it cos u might get away without one.but 9 times outta 10 u need one.

You need one fitted wateva if its a k plater or later (something like that). If its older than that then you just put it through as a leaded car.

It increases the power significantly, u mite be lucky getting it through an MOT, a mate got his mondeo through with a cat bypass on, though on the other hand i know 4 people who have tried and failed the MOT, my idea is just take it off each year, aint that hard and will defo pass then.
