Postby xr2irhys on Mon Apr 21, 2008 8:49 pm

so what peoples methods of keeping their cd players safe 8)

with mine i think you can drill through the holes in the cage and screw and drill into the actual cd player so it doenst come out with keys or any metal that some one could shove into it in attempt to theif it ,but i dont really want to be drilling holes into the cd caseing

is there any other ways that you can make your cd player nick proof

Having a removable front is a good start :)

Please remember to remove the front when you are leaving your car, as i know a few of my mates just leave theres in all the time, when they should remove it.

one thing to keep in mind is the harder you make it to remove...potentially the more damage someone can do to your dash...

there are a number of things that can be done but it all means making custom things so no one can get to the head unit...
