Well still works for the moment, but when you back off its starting to make (wheel bearing kind of sound).

Not got time to drop it out though and swap diff into new box, so its going as is.

No excuse not to give it any stick now, so its all systems go go go

I have no idea mate really what the car will do, never launched it ever!!!
Only ever done track days..

Im told it should be in the 12s and 125mph area.
but hey im driving it so lets say 15s and 80mph

We will see what it does on the day though

I think even if you got the worst launch ever you would still be able to pull it back to a good terminal... just keep it pinned...

I have to say tho, how you are feeling about santa pod is how i feel like track days... i have every faith in the car not breaking etc, just dont know it she would be able to cope with being able to turn...

You'll be fine... Its all trial and error on the strip... i get it wrong nearly all the time... Prob cos i'm a bird tho... too busy looking for the nearest river island

Not all of them... did i mention the 17 second i got last year cos i forgot to switch the gas on so was trying to fumble around putting it on whilst launching and then trying to get in to 2nd...

im coming up on the sunday but not running as ive not bomb proofed the car yet and i'll need to drive it home

doubt i'll get out on a track at all this year due to time even missing ford fair as im gonna be sunning myself in sunny california and spending next years budget in vegas for a weekend

Been in garage allllll day - engines in... slicks have been painted with softner and bottle has been filled...

Now all i gotta do it make this new turbo/downpipe fit... get it running... get it mapped and wash and polish it.... Not much then?!

i forgot why i like owning a rs after taking a break but this just reminded me theres always a rush of people getting cars ready for shows/meets love all the home built cars they either go really well or dnt get off the start line however there is some talented people about on the ford scene it makes great entertainment cant wait to see how some have progressed with there cars gonna never been to central day so hope the weathers clear so we see some good times think we should start a passionford excuses thread lol

I'm half glad there is a bank holiday so i can get so much done but its just a pain in the arse getting things here... was supposed to be putting a cometic head gasket on but due to no post running i've had to stick a fel pro one on... but it is my own fault... i'm the one who's left it this long

ontop of that, having probs with my front springs so getting changed soon, so im not spending £40 on getting tracking done
nos controller just been sorted finally after a couple of teething problems but im not getting 100% from the 25 shot to the rev limit, fantastic !
