weather permiting i'll be there in the rs turbo powered pop i'll be on the surrey rs owners club stand would love to run it up the strip but i fear a gearbox explosion as its done about 100k miles in a old 1.8 cvh sierra estate, then i go and plant some rs turbo power through its ass hence i'll be taking it easy

atm its a standard un-chipped OFAC ecu with 1.8 zvh and kent cvh34 cam, not 100% sure about what boost its using as the gauge is very untrust worthy. i have no idea what bhp it has as i genuinlly have no idea. but due to its complete lack of wieght, it does go like a cat with a firework up its arse

well my mate says he'll have time to finish welding my external w.g setup tommorow, he welded the flange on the wrong way round 1st time around

so once thats done and back in my hands all i gotta do is fit turbo, rad, intercooler, cossie pump, replace rear wheel bearing, get screamer pipe welded up, insure it, tax it, then hopefully spend saturday afternoon setting boost and giving it a good polish

if i dont get it done i dont know if i'll even come on sunday as it'll be too depressing lol

Went out last night to bed the bearings in and… summit is broke! Ha ha…

Will boost but only if you feed it in… but then it wont boost if you floor it… but only sometimes, which is helpful…!!

Oh well… its in at MSD today soooo should be up and running and on full chat by tonight…

Well... Took it to MSD... would only make 18psi and nothing more so has to be the rear housing as nothing more has changed... going to be changing it later then its a late night session setting up the fueling cos the car has plenty more in it...

Took it out last night tho running the 18psi and does it feel good... cant wait to get it back... then cant wait to put the gas on... i'm like a kid at christmas!!

more or less sorted the controller and its reading 100% but getting the same progression in every gear which is a bit pants. who cares im getting max power from the nos which is what matters most!
not running slicks either

well shes coming tommorow! (today)

todays been quite a day, sorted quite a few things so shes running all good...er had an engine bay fire, no joke proper flames licking up! was all my fault though but is sorted now and all soot cleaned lol.

wont be taking her on the strip as i never fitted my cossie pump so only running 11psi, so not gonna set any great times.

maybe see some of u guys there.

ps. is there anyway i can get my car inside the show without being on a stand/going on strip? seems a shame just to beach it in the public car park all day and not be able to show off my sweat and tears work lol

well just got home....bloody knackered.... never camping at the pod again....soo cold!!!... and was made worse buy shaun rubbing it in about how warm his hotel room was... .... luke mate i hope your £250 better off... im glad my car wasnt there ,you would of made it look silly... ...ram... i looked for ya mate but couldnt find you ... i hope you got the car in and you could of came on our stand if id known...i met up with paul dolman and had a good wander round...see ya next time mate..... shell, saw you go up the strip a few times and get a bit side ways on one of the runs.... .. the new wheels look spot on...same goes for RS EDDIE ...saw your car mate,soo clean and the wheels are perfect... all in all a good show... roll on the next one...
