Hi guys.. when i change my shocks do i need to buy new hub nuts?

also, ive just got a secondhand kit of rs tanya (or mr orange?) and i was wondering what type of lock nut i should use for the top of the strut? as i would like to get a new pair..

think thats it.. oh and does anyone have the part code for mk3.5 rubber topmount bushes? and are they they same as mk3?

no you dont need a hub nut as you dont need to revove the hub housing.

the top loack nut doesnt really need replacing but if you wanna do it you need a 19mm lock nut, pref with built on washer, or just get it from ford and pay a bit more, or use a washer :lol: :lol:

the rubber donuts (topmounts) are not expensive from fords and yes are the same on the later fiestas.
a part you could change if you want, although not always needed is the thrust bearing at the top, i dont mine as it was like £4.50 or some thing for each one and before i stripped the car the drivers side used to sqeak so replaced everything :lol:

lol quite regular name really :P

erm.. well ok chaps ill get the little spherical bearings and will get the locknuts from ford just questioned them being the right threads but i spose there gonna be :rolleyes:

gonna get the top rubbers too it all needs an overhaul next up is adjustable lower arms and track rod ends should get rid of all my front end knocking and instability atleast a damn sight more than what i have already..

:lol: nah i know oh i didnt mean you shoulda guessed lol.. just meant its borin :) actually i used to use the same on here years ago but grew up and messaged the admins :)

does anyone know if the ka/puma/mk4 topmount rubbers are the the same as the mk3?
