GavRST was happy enough. 200bhp on the rollers :)

I'm gonna get one too at some point. Your idea of intercooler and charge cooler sounds interesting snake.
That must give you some really low temps!

Any chance of a pic of your engine bay with that setup?

It's like a turbo intercooler, it cools the air going into the turbo except it uses water for better cooling.

I awlays thought a charge cooler replaced/went over the charge carrier cooling the charge air temps before going into the Inlet?

Water is pumped round the charge carrier then passed back to a water radiator, sometimes located under the battery tray to release the heat?

so am I wrong?

I don't know why I bother writing any articles...

About halfway down, after chips. Explanations of intercoolers and chargecoolers.

Been there for at least two years!

That Info thingy :A chargecooler works differently to an intercooler in that it uses water rather than air for cooling. An electric pump flows water from an alloy reservoir known as a header tank, through a pre-rad at the front of the car where it is cooled, before entering a jacketed core where it cools the inlet down to 30 degrees C. The pre-rad is very small in dimension compared to an intercooler so is easy to locate in the Fiesta's engine bay. The core itself is not reliant on airflow so it can be placed anywhere in the engine bay. Under the battery tray in the case of the Pace system.

I read it when I first came to the site :p

I always thought it was used in conjunction with the intercooler...

oh well, I'd want to use it with the intercooler anyway
