Cheap Cover warning
Warning to you all.
My renewal came in to insure my Audi A4 1.8T Sport at £496FC. I thought the insurance company were taking the micky a smidge so logged on Confused.com to get some quotes. I was chuffed to bits when three insurers came back at £240FC.
Saddly upon checking I found they didn't cover any optional extra's or modifications. In the event of the worst happening I would be left out of pocket personally for replacing my RS4 rims.
Don't be caught out by a cheap attractive looking quote. Check and see where they will leave you in the event of a claim.
On the plus side my current insurer came back to me at £390FC with the missus as a named driver and business use
If you cherish your car and want to have any chance of getting a suitable payout avoid Admiral/Bell/Diamond/Elephant.co.uk

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

The moral of the story is: never buy insurance from a pachyderm, a warning bell, or a man with a parrot on his shoulder.
My name is Alex. I used to have a Capri. I don't anymore. But I'm still called Capri.

The girlfriends smart roadster is insured by diamond, had no problems when a van drove into the side of her, damage repairs costing £4k, and the car itself was £7.5k so lucky it didnt get written off, however its a standard car so there may be some perks for insuring your daily runaround with them
MotorcyclesFish :The thing is if I caught Brian fudgekin a bloke, I wouldn't think 'oh Brian's a gay', I'd think 'Brian that fudgekin weird haired mongoloid is raping a gay to see if anyone finds it funny'
