Cheap or incomplete Mk3.5 RS1800

Looking for a certain model?

Cheap or incomplete Mk3.5 RS1800

Postby Excursion on Tue Dec 27, 2011 6:58 pm

All, I'm looking for a Mk3.5 RS1800. I have a ton of parts left over from the Si build that I'd like to use to restore one of these. It must be a Mk3.5 and I want a Red one.

It can be a bare rolling shell as I have everything needed to build one.

Cheers

There is a m plate rs1800 not too far from me. It was on ebay last week and didn't get a bid on 450 its got 12 months ticket aswell. I was going to have a bid but missed the end of the auction.
This is the link anyway. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220913675292? ... 1149wt_932
I messaged the chap after the auction ended and he said make me an offer. I was going to offer 400 and see what he says. I was only going to strip it but i would rather someone like your good self save it and keep it on the road. There is not many left these days. Let me know how you get off as i will buy it and strip it otherwise. :) :)

I know that's why i was watching it. I was going to bid last minute but got drunk and missed the auction. If excursion is not interested i will pick it up and strip it. Ebay can be a good site sometimes i was also watching a k plate 1800 that went for 1100 odd so i thought there was a profit even if i stripped it. Let me know excursion or i am off to pontypool :D

Thanks very much for the heads up, I will pass on that one as he doesn't have the V5.

That's a real bargain though :o

At the end of january i will have a Red 94 RS1800 rolling shell with glass, wireing, ecu, bodykit etc for sale.
Has uprted suspension, power steering aswell etc
My old track car that im stripping to put parts on the other halfs car and my xr2,has had a new floor, arches,But has a very small slit on floor where it caught when loading on the trailer, but its only minor.
Will sell it for £100 cash

Or my Mrs is about to put her N reg Red RS1800 up for sale,
M.O.T til june,4 months tax.Went straight through its last m.o.t.
Has uprated suspension, filter, stainless exhaust and uprated discs.
Needs a few minor issues sorting (cracked front bumper, slight surface rust on front nearside wing, and light scratches on roof which should come out with cutting paste.
Has clifford alarm/imobilser.
Has done 123k but you wouldnt know it to drive it and it doesnt use oil.
Just had a genuine ford cambelt and tensioner fitted too.
She wants about £895 for it.
