Cheap Si style sideskirts... kinda. DIY styleeeee!

I've just seen some picture of a (cough) renault clio with some sideskirts on that looked quite round and curvy like the optional Si ones. When looking down the spec list for it under 'body-mods' it said the sideskirts were made from bits of guttering!!!!

I can't believe no-one's thought of this before apart from this guy, and have gotta give it a go!!!!

(Jon takes some guttering to the garage with a hacksaw and some expanding foam.......)

I don't suppose anyone's got a pic of the afformentioned fez with drainpipes for sideskirts?!?!?! What else did it have cos i could see it looking wrong with the 2i bumpers but surely it must suit the Si bumpers?!? unless it was a sh!te job on his behalf (no offence if he is reading this now!!!) I would fibreglass the ends of 'em too so they don't look hollow if u were to look down 'em.

I think i've solved the rust round the filler cap prob too after re-routing the fiesta's drainage system to my drainpipes, i mean sideskirts!

Job for tomorrow: clean birdsnest and leaves out of sideskirts

Thought about it but the lines of the car need something to come down a little lower either at the back, like the RS2000 skirts, or at both ends, like the RST/2i kit. Has no-one thought of taking the RS skirts, cutting them along the swage line and extending them down 2 inches?? I'd take two if they did

Another job for tomorrow, raise the drive (by adding more concrete) around my car to make it look lower. I gotta stop going to these DIY shops.
