Chip & Boost Setting?
At the mo i run a 165 Superchip with Piper cams, T3 @ 10psi, IK, S/S Xorst.
I plan on getting beige injectors and running 15psi. Do i need the 195 chip? I'd like a Ahmid Bayjoo chip. What r my options? CheeRS

Hello
Thats fine, the engine should be able to cope with what u have now. But if your wanting to raise the boost and use beige injectors i would recommend you get a custom made chip rather than the Superchip 195.
I am guessing you also have a cossie fuel pump to go with your injectors ??

Just reading the tuning guide & it says the Superchip 195 is mapped to biege injectors.
How does this effect the engine when running on standard injectors (as described above)???
Will it be alright as long as i dont go over 12psi ish?

Yes blues are standard. Andy was saying you get Superchip 195's for FRST's without beige's.
It doesnt matter if u have a beige injector capable chip or not, it will still work ok on blues.
As i said you would be better to get a custom mapped chip if your planning on increasing boost and using beiges. Oh and a cossie fuel pump to warrant the use of beige injectors.

mucho debateo about injectors and which to run, personally know little about them, would suggest doing a search for them, i believe i read on here that blues are a lot better than there cracked up to,
imho if ur unsure as to how ur car is running then get it on the rolling road, also a properly mapped custom chip is 100x`s better than any off the shelf chip
not much help i know

blues max out at 175-180 bhp, had mine mapped to 190bhp on blues, put the limiter to 5000 rpm as injectors would not stuff enough fuel in above this.... u really need a custom chip as t3 boost characteristics differ s**t loads to t2, and to get the most of other mods, ie cam u need it custom mapped to the engine..

Is the Ahmid Bayjoo chip the best custom mapable 1?
Where can i buy it & hav it set up including cam timing, nearish to Manchester?
What different Ahmid Bayjoo chips are there for different states of tune? R they all mapable or is it just the 1 which is mapable to every boost/state of tune?
I know its around £300, but how much is the nearest reputable place going to charge for everything including timing adjustment?

What's the difference in proceedure in having it mapped & having it live mapped?
What problems or undesirable effects will runing it as it is for the moment hav on my engine?
HELP. Thanx, Mikey.

Still need to know the nearest place to me (Manchester) that can sell me, set me up & mapp me a Bayjoo chip.
Any1?
So does mapping mean that fueling is set to ur car at every rev point? Hence the T3 kicking in later than the T2 so the chip needs to be mapped to this? Does the £300 that Power Engineering & Castle Performance charge include this mapping?
I rang Superchips today but sounds like it'll be cheaper for me to get a new Bayjoo chip rather than having my Superchip 'live' mapped.
What's the Bobby Moore? CheeRS.
