Circular in the back?

Postby Reevo8 on Sat Oct 20, 2007 7:09 pm

After I have installed some components, would 6X9's be a good idea, or to avoid chopping the parcel shelf would it be a better idea to fit some more circular speakers in the holes for standard rear speakers, which is what I would prefer to do!

I never recomend 6x9's. They are a bit shonky to be honest.

I would get an amp to run the front speakers and either run with no rears or fit some co-axial speakers in the standard positions

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

depends if u have a sub or not

6x9s have a purpose and they fill that purpose well.......to give LOADS of midbass and play LOUD...not with the best of accuracy though LOL

if you dont have a sub...go for the 6x9's if you want a nice amount of bass

if your after more clarity than go for a good set of coaxials in the back and if possible box them off and again you will get a nice bit of mid bass to the music

I've got a set of 13cm Pioneer coax's in the back in the correct speaker spaces either side of the parcel shelf (still dont understand why people always default to 6x9's :-?) and it does sound pretty good coupled with my amps!
