Clutch recommendations

Postby HaggisTurbo on Tue Mar 04, 2014 11:54 am

Hi All,

Not been on this forum in years but have just bought an Escort Mk4 with Fiesta RS Turbo engine and running gear,

Unfortunately it would appear that the clutch is slipping like a lunatic on light boost so from the sounds of things needs replaced.

I plan on aiming for between 200 - 250 BHP in a few months with 195 BHP more realistic and imminent.

What clutch should I replace this with?

I should mention that I would like to use this car for road use so anything that would snap the muscles on my left leg are out the question lol!!

How much do the standard / fast road version of the Fiesta RS Turbo clutches hold power wise?

Car uses a T3 Turbo and is around 170 bhp the now

Thanks all

C
