Problem or technical question?

Clutch stuff. Just wondering but I think I'm right about it

My MK3.5 Fiesta SI is SORNed as the engine popped and I got a hold of an Escort Finesse (2000 plate) with the phase 2 1.6 silvertop and BC gearbox (well, it looks exactly the same as the fiesta one). The Fiesta has the phase 1 1.6 silvertop.

The escort needs a clutch so I'm guessing it should be a direct swap? Possibly move over the flywheel as well? The Fiesta had it's clutch done summer last year and has never really been launched or anything.

if the flywheel is the same size, i think the escort is a 220mm clutch then you could swap it over no problem

Awesome. Thought so. Both cabled, the escort can take 210 or 220mm clutch that I know which the fiesta has.

Fiesta doesn't need it, in fact that's getting an engine which might require an entirely different gearbox anyway :)
