Clutches

Postby TIL13R on Fri May 19, 2006 11:08 am

Hello all,

As i am rebuilding my engine and modifing it too, i have decided to uprate my clutch,
looking for one to handle about 200bhp as i am not going to be anywhere near that power but i would like to know that the clutch could handle it.

Car is 1.6 8v Xr2i

What options have i got?
Also does a FRST Clutch fit?

Many Thanks

Tiller

FRST clutch should fit, there both 220mm and FRST used the same flywheel...

how much power are you after.. are you going for throttle bodys or something?

iirc the series 2 escort rst has the 220mm clutch also so those ones should be available. I think the series one is the only cvh turbo with a smaller flywheel. 200mm i think !!
