does anyone know where i can get hold of coilover spring platforms?

had to cut the ones off the avo coilovers i got off the si as they were siezed solid, want to get the ones like on GAZ coilovers that lock together with a pair of C spanners.

could do with them sharpish as well.

dont want the avo ones again, the design is frankly very poor!

they use one single platform, that is held by a grubscrew. the platforms that lock together are a much better idea as they are alot harder to sieze to the coilover.

i know what there like as i have avo's, and i will prob have that problems too when it comes to it, but by that time i will have my business up and running (engineering) so will make new ones and will prob use the same design as the gaz ones, i.e as you said, lock together.
when i said about calling avo, i ment call them and buy enough to be able to use them to lock together, so a set of 8

Till about 8 months ago, Gaz locked their spring platforms using a grub screw onto the thread. The grub screw itself doesn't contact the metal body of the damper unit, it acts on a small plastic slug, so the grub screw itself can't seize onto the damper unit.
