Coilover setup

Postby Stuartcarvell on Wed Jun 11, 2008 7:41 am

Hello,
Im happy with fitting them, but just wondered how people set them up.

How do you know how low you can go without rubbing? (is it just trial and error)
How do you get ride height equal around the car? (set the platforms at the same height or set the body at the same height)
How much higher should the back be than the front?
How many times have people got the tracking setup? (once when initially fitted then once when it beds in)
Has anyone used camber bolts?
Any other tips?

Thanks
Stuart

I did trial and error, and was up till 12am night before FITP making sure it didnt scrub again for the journey!

I wound mine up to the highest they would go and counted the times I turned it to get them lower, and then did it for the other side.
How much higher should the back be than the front?
Its up to you
