Coilovers for an XR2i

Postby ~Tony~ on Wed Mar 17, 2004 1:30 pm

who makes the best coilovers for a 2i my car is going to be used in tarmac rallies so need a really strong, and fully adjustable suspension

i've been told h&r do a really good setup. does anyone know anyone who stocks these?

also who stocks polyurathene bushes at a good price.

Ohlins, @ about 600 or 700 quid a corner

Seriously now, H&R aren't fully adjustable... all you get is ride height adjustment and you can play around with spring poundages (since they use normalised dimension springs), which is fine if you're just into a bit of weekend tarmac rallying and u use the car as a daily driver. If you want to get dead serious about it, I'd consider talking to Leda for a state of the art, fully adjustable, nuclear attack resistant coilover set.
